Thanks to the generosity of many business donors and Smith Auction Company, Friends of the St. Croix County Fairgrounds is announcing the Fifth Annual Maytober Sale. The Sale, an online charity auction, is being hosted by Smith Sales, Baldwin, WI. The Sale goes online the week of October 28th and closes at 6 p.m. November 13th.
Donated items include certificates for dining, entertainment, services; plus much more. There is literally something for everyone!
The Sale proceeds are for the benefit of the St. Croix County Fairgrounds with all funds raised going towards Fairgrounds capital improvements. The primary focus is retiring the loan on the Tiffany Creek Shelter.
The Tiffany Creek Shelter, completed in 2024, is an ADA compliant toilet and shower facility built of solid concrete. Due to its solid concrete construction, the Shelter will also double as severe weather protection for up to 250 individuals providing much needed storm protection for the youth staying on the Fairgrounds overnight during the Fair.
Friends of the St. Croix County Fairgrounds is very grateful for the generous donors and buyers who annually have made the Maytober and its predecessor, the May Fair Event & Sale, a great success. Since the first May Fair held in 2010, the funds raised by the two events have been more than enough to completely pay for the construction of one of the four new barns, a remarkable accomplishment!
