For our younger attendees, there will be a Nickel Scramble sponsored by Blue Ribbon Feeds with plenty of silver for all.
The silent and live auctions will feature items from production agriculture supplies to restaurant and salon packages. Special this year are a pair of football tickets for Green Bay and several pair of professional baseball tickets. For the hobby farmer, there is a 12’ IH Pulvamulcher, a JD 16A Flail Chopper and other assorted equipment. And lets not forget mom, there will be beautiful flowering hanging baskets from Circle H Greenhouse just in time for Mother’s Day – truly something for everyone!!
Again this year, the winner of the 2013 4-H Dairy Heritage club calf will be announced. Presentation of the calf will be to a deserving 4-H Dairy project member. Additionally there will be several check presentations plus special recognition of community civic organization donors.
The purpose of the May Fair Event & Sale is to raise funds for the Renovations of the Generations Capital Fund Campaign. Great strides have already been made, with Dairy Barn #1 having been erected for the 2011 Fair and completely paid for. Dairy Barn #2 is up and will be completed in time for the 2013 Fair! Next on the horizon is the Horse Barn for which significant funds have already been raised. All funds raised at the May Fair Event will be directed towards capital improvements with the primary focus being completion of Dairy Barn #2 and retirement of its loan.
Help preserve our rich agricultural heritage and support St. Croix County Youth Programs.
