Welcome to The Saint Croix Valley PRCA Rodeo at the Fairplex in Glenwood City. June 26 and 27, 2009, where you will see the best in professional rodeo action and entertainment.

At the Saint Croix Valley PRCA Rodeo, you’ll see pro rodeo’s toughest competitors go up against the rough and rugged rodeo stock from the award-winning Barnes Rodeo Company. They’ll be vying in seven great events, tiedown roping, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, bareback bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing and team roping.

Friday June 26 is family day at the SCV PRCA Rodeo. Starting at 4 pm the gates will open for families to enjoy a petting zoo from Fantasy Corral featuring over 35 different species of animals that can be fed and petted. The Milk Buds will be performing and offering wagon rides with their 8 pony matching hitch. There will be pony rides, inflatables, and many other great attractions for the whole family to enjoy. At 7:30 pm the Barnes Rodeo company will take over in center stage and the audience will be treated to a fantastic display of professional rodeo., including mutton busting for the kids! Following the rodeo performance there will be a fireworks show.

Saturday, June 27 military appreciation night. Everyone with a military ID will receive a discount on admission. The pre-show gets underway at 7PM as we honor our brave servicemen and women. Once again at 7:30 The excitement of Pro Rodeo takes over the arena. After the rodeo performance there will be a dance featuring the music of BoogieJunction. There will also be team sorting to watch in the west arena.

Bob Barnes has worked with Spooner Rodeo since 1954, and we are excited to have him as the stock contractor for the Saint Croix Valley PRCA Rodeo. Bob Barnes is a member of the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and he knows how to put on a professional rodeo. Many of the bulls and broncs that are coming to Saint Croix County have competed at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
